Westmont Swim Club is one of Illinois' top year round competitive swim teams serving the western and southern Chicago suburbs.  We offer an opportunity for beginners and nationally ranked swimmers to reach their maximum potential and develop a love for sport and team.

• 12/12/11 - "Westmont Swimmers in the news!" - The team had four 8 and Under High Point Winners at the 2011 Mid-Season Challenge Meet this past weekend; Nina Barcelona took 2nd, Erin Beatty finished 3rd, Jake Owens placed 3rd and Tristan Haeger took home the 1st place trophy.  Congratulations!  Click Here to see the Western springs news article about our 8& Under High Point winners
• 12/4/11 - "2011 Mid-Season Challenge" - Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who helped run the 2011 Mid-Season Challenge Meet this weekend.  The meet ran very smoothly due to all your hard work.  Congratulations to all the Westmont Swimmers who competed in the meet.  There were some outstanding swims over the weekend!  Full meet results are now posted. 
• 11/24/11 - "10 Westmont Swimmers named to the USA Scholastic All-American Team!" - Ten Westmont swimmers where recognized by USA Swimming as 2011 Scholar All-Americans.  To achieve this you must have at least a 3.5 gpa, completed grades 10, 11, or 12 and achieved an individual qualifying time.  Congratulations to Maureen Barron, Jennifer Coady, Vincent Errichiello, Peter Errichiello, Genna Heidkamp, Alex Iwanicki, Hannah Lillioja, Lindsay Pavich, Elly Vitek and Haley Wickham!  This is an incredible honor and the team is very proud of all of you!
• 11/19/11 - "Westmont HS Girls Tear it up at State!" - Congratulations to our Westmont Swim Club High School Girls at State this weekend! Our girls had a strong finish tonight at the State Finals, placing in the top12 in 8 individual swims!! Congratulations to all our high school girl swimmers on a terrific high school season. • 11/17/11 - "Good Luck HS Girls at State!" - Good luck to all our high school girls competing in the IL HS Girls State Meet!  Westmont Swim Club had 14 girls qualify for state in 16 individual events at Sectionals.  Click Here to see the full list of our girls State Swimmers!
• 11/11/11- "Good Luck Girls!" - The team wishes all our high school girls competing in Sectionals the best of luck!  Hinsdale Central - Jen Coady, Genna Heidkamp, Olivia Garrett, Kerry Grosshans, Hannah Lillioja, Lindsay Pavich, and Kristen Worthington;  Fenwick - Colleen Barron, Maureen Barron, Grace Gibbons and Haley Wickham;  Lyons - Louisa Hoffman, Madeline Naughton and Elly Vitek;  Hinsdale South - Hannah Veselik and Dana Vinyard;  York - Paige Jaeger.

• 11/8/11 - "Lahmann takes down another Team Record!" -  Congratulations to Nolan Lahmann on breaking the team record in the 8 and Under 25 yard Butterfly this past weekend at the Maverick's Round up.  Nolan swam a 16.16 in the 25 fly beating the old Westmont record of a 16.20.
• 10/25/11 - "Westmont off to another great start!" - The team is off to a great start to the 2011-12 Short Course season after tearing it up during the Joliet Jets meet, the team's first meet of the season.  Congratulations to Nolan Lahmann on breaking the team record in the 8 and under 25 yard Freestyle.  Clocking a 14.58 and breaking the old record of 14.81.
• 10/7/11 - Illinois 2011 LCM Top Ten List - Illinois swimming has posted the 2011 LCM Illinois Top Ten List.  Westmont Swim Club had 25 swimmers make the Top Ten List in 57 individual swims.  Congratulations to all the swimmers!  Lean More
• 7/28/11 - "Westmont Swimmers tear it up during the first day of competition at the Age Group State meet on Coach Matt's and Coach Jason's Birthday!" - To celebrate Jason's and Matt's birthday our Westmont Swimmer's decided to give them one amazing swim after another today.  The Team ends the day in 9th place!  The team had 8 top 8 and 1 top 16 individual swims plus the 13/14 boys 800 Free finished 7th and the 10&U boys 200 Free Relay finished 9th today!  Keep it up!
• 7/25/11 - "Westmont Swim Club finishes 10th at Sectionals and the girls tied for 5th!" - Congratulations to all our swimmers on a great meet.  Congratulations to Kelly Ryan on making three Olympic Trial Cuts during the meet.  For all the highlights of the meet please click here.
• 7/21/11 - "Kelly Ryan Captures the 100 Free title with an Olympic Trial Qualifying time at the Sectional Championship!"  Westmont Swimmers tear it up on the first day of competition at the Speedo Sectional Meet!  Katie Clancy finished 23rd in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:44.68.  Conor Ozog scored in the 200 Breast on the guys side swimming a best time of 2:29.03.  Kelly Ryan highlighted the day by winning the 100 Free with an Olympic Trail Qualifying time of 57.02!
• 6/28/11 - "Westmont Swim Club takes home the 1st Place Team Trophy at the CSP Summer Invitational" - Congratulations to the team for capturing the first place team trophy at the CSP meet in St. Louis.  Also congrats to Nolan Lahmann for taking home the 8 and Under Boy High Point Trophy.  Besides losing our brand new tent during the storm on the first night there, this was a great meet! - Read more
• 6/15/11 - "New Meet Records Set!" -  Westmont swimmer's set five new meet records at the Lake Forest Chicago Classic!  Anna Glowniak set a new meet record in the 9-10 100 meter Breaststroke with a time of 1:32.92.  Donovan Lahmann broke the 9-10 50 meter Freestyle meet record with a 33.64.  Elly Vitek set the Senior 800 meet Freestyle with a time of 9:56.71.  Kelly Ryan took down two meet records; the Senior 100 meter Backstroke with a time of 1:07.66 and also the Senior 100 meter Freestyle with a 1:00.56.  Congratulations!

• 3/18/11 - "Four More Team Records Set During Jr Nationals!" - Conor Ozog broke the 200 Breast team record with a 2:08.26 a personal best time by three seconds.  Three heats after Conor broke the record Vince Errichiello reset the record with a 2:07.64.  Vince Errichiello also set a new team record in the 400 IM the day before with a 4:06.17.  The boys 200 free relay of Michael Reed, Peter Errichiello, Connor Schroyer and Vince Errichiello set a new team record by almost four seconds with a 1:25.89 and finished 12th!  The team has one more day of competition left and is looking forward to a big last day!
• 3/15/11 - "Two New Team Records Set on First day Of Jr Nationals!" - Westmont Swim Club is off and running strong again on the first day of competition at the NCSA Jr Nationals with two new team records set!  The 200 Medley Relays started off the meet and both our Girls and Boys Relays set new records.  The Girls 200 Medley Relay of Elly Vitek, Lindsay Pavich, Genna Heidkamp, and Maureen Barron swam a 1:47.21 breaking the old record by over a second.  The Boys 200 Medley Relay of Peter Errichiello, Conor Ozog, Vince Errichiello, and Mike Reed finished 17th with a time of a 1:35.06 breaking the old team record by over four seconds.  Congratulations!
• 3/12/11 - "New Team Record Set Duing 2nd Day of Age Group State!" - Congratulations to the 10 and Boys 200 Free Relay for setting a new team record and finish 3rd in the state!  The relay of Frank McCarter, Thomas Willemse, Donovan Lahmann and Cole Grosshans sprinted to a 1:54.65 beating the old team record by more than a second.  Congratulations Boys!
• 3/11/11 - "Maud Willemse State Champ!" - Maud Willemse set the pace for the team during the first day of Competition at the Age Group State Championships by becoming the 10 and Under 50 yard Breaststroke State Champion in a new team record time of 34.20.  Congratulations Maud!
• 3/611 - "Westmont Captures 3rd Place at Senior State!" - The team finished 3rd at Senior Champs in a dramatic finish during the last day of competition, breaking three more team records in the process, bringing the total to 8 new records set at the meet!  Maureen Barron broke the 100 free record with a time of 52.05.  Then Maureen teamed with Elly Vitek, Jen Coady and Genna Heidkamp won the Women's 400 Free Relay and set a new team record in the process with a time of 3:29.89!  To wrap up the meet Mike Reed, Peter Errichiello, Ryan Greeenway, and Vince Errichiello finished second in the Men's 400 Free Relay with a record time of 3:07.93!  Congratulations to our Senior Team!
• 3/5/11 - "Three More Records Go Down during 2nd day of Senior Champs!!" - The team had a fantastic second day of competition at Seniors with 15 individual final swims.  During those swims three new team records where set.  Maureen Barron who went into finals tonight tied for 8th place from the morning won the 50 free from lane 1 with a new team record of 23.75.  Vince Errichiello had an awesome night, finishing in the top 8 in three individuals and breaking the team record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:53.11 and setting a new team record in the 200 breast in a time of 2:08.72.  To end the night the girls 400 Medley Relay of Jen Coady, Haley Wickham, Genna Heidkamp, and Maureen Barron captured 1st place with an exciting come from behind win! 
• 3/4/11 - "Two New Team Records Set at 1st Day of Senior Champs!!" - The team is off to a great start on the 1st day of the Senior State Championships.  Already two new team records where set.  Our girls 800 Free Relay of Elly Vitek, Kristen Worthington, Jen Coady and Genna Heidkamp broke the old team record by six tonight swimming a 7:37.18.  The girls moved up from there six place seed to a second place finish.  Along with the 800 free relay Elly Vitek broke the 200 free team record with a 3rd place finish in the event with a time of 1:52.47!!
• 2/13/11 - "New Team Record Set at BrRyall" -  Congratulations to Audrey LaValle on setting a new team record Friday night at the BrRyall Last Chance Meet.  Audrey broke Sarah Barcelona's 8 and under 200 IM record with a time of 3:28.41.  Way to go Audrey!
• 2/7/11 -  "Two Team Records Broken at Schroeder" - Congratulations to Nolan Lahmann and Maud Willemse who set new team records this weekend at the Schroeder A+ Meet.  During the Saturday afternoon session Nolan Lahmann busted out a 31.20 in the 50 yard freestyle breaking the 8 and Under Boys team record.  Later that night Maud Willemse broke the 9 and 10 Girls 50 yard breaststroke record blasting a 35.50 during finals.  Congratulations Noland and Maud!!
• 11/27/10 -  2009-2010 Scholastic All-American - Eight Westmont swimmers where recognized by USA Swimming as 2010 Scholar All-Americans.  To achieve this you must have at least a 3.5 gpa, completed grades 10, 11, or 12, and achieved an individual qualifying time.  Congratulations to Jennifer Coady, Casey Dollard, Vincent Errichiello, Genna Heidkamp, Michael Reed, Kelly Ryan, Sara Shaner and Hannah Lillioja (not pictured)!  This is an incredible honor. 

• 11/24/10 - Westmont Swim Club Represented well at the High School Girls State Meet!  Congrats to all our high school girls at the State Meet!  We are so proud of you!  Westmont had 12 girls qualify in a total of 15 individual events at state.  Out of those twelve girls, four went on to final in their events;  Jen Coady finished 9th in the 200 IM, Maureen Barron took 5^th in the 50 free, Genna Heidkamp finished 3^rd in the 100 fly, and Hannah Lillioja took 11^th in the 100 Back.   We also had several high placing relay swims too.  Congratulations girls! • 11/14/10 - New Team Record Set during Day 1 of the Grand Prix Meet!  Congratulations to Vince Errichiello for breaking the 100 fly team record.  During the first day of the Grand Prix Meet in Minn Vince swam a lifetime best time of a 51.91 in the 100 fly.  Also setting a new lifetime best swim in Day 1 was Vince's younger brother Peter who dropped almost four seconds in his 200 free.  Mike Reed also joined the Errichiello brothers with a lifetime best swim in the 100 Breast (1:00.50).

• 09/15/2010 - Illinois LCM Top Ten List - Illinois swimming has posted the 2010 LCM Illinois Top Ten List.  Westmont Swim Club had 20 swimmers make the Top Ten List.  Congratulation to all the swimmers.  Learn More

• 08/04/2010 - "Kelly Ryan at Senior Nationals"

  
  Congratulations to Kelly Ryan in competing at her first National meet..  Kelly competed in the 100 and 200 meter Backstroke at the 2010 Long Course Senior National Championships in Irvine California in August.  Results   Also Kelly has officially qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 100m Backstroke.  Learn More
